Soy Wax - 2nd quality 25 KG
-
Product Specifications
- Soy Wax is a vegetable wax made from soybean oil.
- Soy Wax contains %100 hydrogenated soybean oil.
- Suitable for container candles and aromatherapy candles.
- Burns without producing soot or smoke.
- Soy Wax has a melting point of 70°C.
- It has a cream or off-white color.
- It has a light natural soy scent.
- After harvesting, the beans are cleaned, cracked, dehulled, and rolled into flakes. The oil is then extracted from the flakes and hydrogenated.
- The hydrogenation process converts some unsaturated fatty acids in the oil to saturated ones. This process significantly alters the oil's melting point, solidifying it at room temperature.
- A well-made soy candle will burn cleanly and slowly to your customers' delight.
- Comes in broken slabs and has a shelf life of 2 years. Adding a hardener like Stearic Acid (Stearin) to Soy Wax will compromise its naturalness. Because Stearic Acid is a saturated fatty acid. Soy Wax does not show significant or very little sinking. How to Make Candles with Soy Wax
- Fill a suitable container with water and place it on the stove for melting the Soy Wax using a double boiler method.
- Melt the Soy Wax using a double boiler method, making sure to stir the melting soy to eliminate any solid pieces.
- You can add candle dyes and candle fragrances to achieve the desired color. (Fragrance ratio is %3-%5)
- Place wicks in the containers you will use. Ensuring the wicks remain centered helps them stay fixed. If they do not have a sticky base, drip some melted wax at the bottom of the container to stabilize the base in the center.
- Pour the melted Soy Wax into the container. Make sure the wick stands upright in the center.
- Trim the excess wick and let your candle sit at room temperature overnight.
