Soy Wax - 2nd quality 10 KG
-
Product Features
- Soy Wax is a vegetable wax made from soybean oil.
- Soy Wax contains %100 hydrogenated soy oil.
- Suitable for container candles and aromatherapy candles.
- Does not produce soot or smoke when burned.
- Soy Wax has a melting point of 70°C.
- It is cream or off-white in color.
- Has a slight natural soy scent.
- After harvesting, the beans are cleaned, cracked, de-hulled, and rolled into flakes. The oil is then extracted from the flakes and hydrogenated.
- The hydrogenation process converts some unsaturated fatty acids in the oil into saturated ones. This process significantly changes the oil's melting point, turning it solid at room temperature.
- A well-made soy candle will burn cleanly and slowly to your customers' delight.
- It is in broken plate form and has a shelf life of 2 years. When you add a hardener such as Stearic Acid (Stearin) to Soy Wax, the product will lose its naturalness. Because Stearic Acid is a saturated fatty acid. No or very little settling can be observed in Soy Wax.How to Make Candles with Soy Wax
- Fill a suitable container with water and place it on the stove to melt the Soy Wax using a double boiler method.
- Melt the Soy Wax using a double boiler method, making sure to mix the melting soybeans to prevent any solid pieces from remaining.
- You can add candle dyes and candle scents according to the desired color. (Scent ratio %3-%5)
- Place wicks in the containers you will use. Ensure that the wicks remain fixed in the center. If they do not have adhesive holders, stabilize the wick in the center by dripping some melted wax at the bottom of the container.
- Pour the melted Soy Wax into the container using the double boiler method. Make sure the wick stands upright in the middle.
- After cutting the excess length of the wick, let your candle sit at room temperature for one night.
