Gel Candle, Gel Wax, Transparent Candle

• A gel candle is a solid, transparent, soft product.
• It lasts 4 times longer than regular candles.
• By using objects placed inside the container visible through the transparent gel, you can create decorative candles.

How to Make Gel Candles?

• Fill a container with water and heat it on the stove to melt the solid gel candle using a double boiler method.
• Regularly stir the gel candle as it begins to melt using the double boiler method.
• After melting the gel, add a wick, a wick holder, optional color, and fragrance into the selected container.
• Since gel is oil-based, it is recommended not to use water-based colors. Those who want to add color can use a small amount of pigment dye to color the gel.
• Place the wicks in the containers. The wick holders ensure that the wicks remain in the center. If they don't have adhesive holders, drip some melted wax at the bottom of the container to secure the holder in the center.
• You can pour the hot gel into glass containers and the lukewarm gel into mica boxes.
• Pour the melted gel halfway into the container and allow it to cool for a while. This will happen at 32 degrees Celsius. If you fill it all at once, bubbles may form due to small reactions with the materials on the bottom, resulting in a bubbly candle.
• Wait for about 5-10 minutes for these bubbles to disappear. Then fill the remaining part of the container and let it solidify.
• Things to be careful about;
• There should be absolutely no water in the container you are melting, as even a drop of water will cloud the entire gel candle.
• When pouring the melted gel candle from the stove, pour it slowly and from a low height, otherwise bubbles will form.
• Do not move the container after pouring the gel candle until it is completely solidified.
