Soy Wax - 2nd quality 3 KG
-
Product Specifications
- Soy Wax is a vegetable wax made from soybean oil.
- Soy Wax contains %100 hydrogenated soybean oil.
- Suitable for container candles and aromatherapy candles.
- Does not produce soot or smoke when burned.
- The melting point of Soy Wax is 70°C.
- It is a cream or off-white color.
- It has a light natural soy scent.
- After harvesting, the beans are cleaned, cracked, de-hulled, and rolled into flakes. The oil is then extracted from the flakes and hydrogenated.
- The hydrogenation process converts some unsaturated fatty acids in the oil to saturated. This process significantly changes the oil's melting point, solidifying it at room temperature.
- Well-made soy wax will burn clean and slow to your customers' delight.
- Comes in broken flakes shape and has a shelf life of 2 years. When you add a hardener like Stearic Acid (Stearin) to Soy Wax, the product will lose its naturalness. Because Stearic Acid is a saturated fatty acid. No or very little sinking is observed in Soy Wax.How to Make Candles with Soy Wax
- Fill a suitable container with water for melting Soy Wax in a double boiler style and place it on the stove.
- Melt the Soy Wax in a double boiler style, making sure to stir the melting soybeans to prevent solid pieces from remaining.
- You can add candle colorants and candle fragrances to your liking. (Fragrance ratio %3-%5)
- Place wicks in the containers you will use. Ensuring that the wicks remain fixed in the center will help them burn evenly. If they do not have self-adhesive bases, secure them in the center by dripping some melted wax at the bottom of the container.
- Pour the melted Soy Wax into the container. Make sure the wick stands upright in the center.
- After trimming the excess length of the wick, let your candle sit at room temperature for 1 night.
