Epoxy Silicone Mold - Large - 18 x 9 mm

Epoxy silicone resin injection molds are heat resistant and easy to release, meaning they can be removed from the resin epoxy castings after they have dried. These molds can withstand high temperatures, typically between 200 to 300 degrees Celsius, creating a quick curing environment for resin epoxy castings. Additionally, our silicone molds are reusable and not for one-time use only. With over 600 models available in Turkey, resin epoxy molds can be used in various industries, allowing for creativity and diversity.

Usage: Pour 2 parts resin to 1 part hardener into a container and mix slowly until no air bubbles remain. Mix thoroughly for 2-3 minutes in a back and forth, up and down motion to ensure a homogenous mixture that touches the bottom and sides of the container. Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes, then pour it into the mold to dry. It will be touchable in about 6 hours and fully hardened within 12 hours. It will achieve a scratch-resistant glass-like finish in 48 hours.

  • The general lifespan of a mold is around 10 uses, with some models lasting between 20-25 uses.
  • Proper care and maintenance of the mold, along with cleanliness procedures, can extend its lifespan.
  • We recommend using mold release spray or wax varnish to maintain mold shine and ensure a longer lifespan.
  • Non-alcohol-based wet wipes are effective for cleaning epoxy residues from the mold.
  • Do not clean silicone molds with alcohol or solvent-based products, and avoid touching the mold with your fingers.
