Soy Wax - 1st Quality 10 KG
Product Specifications
- Soy Wax is a vegetable wax made from soybean oil.
- Soy Wax contains %100 hydrogenated soybean oil.
- Suitable for container candles and aromatherapy candles.
- Does not produce soot or smoke when burned.
- Melting point of Soy Wax is 70°C.
- It has a cream or off-white color.
- It has a light natural soy scent.
- After harvesting, the beans are cleaned, cracked, de-hulled, and rolled into flakes. The oil is then extracted from the flakes and hydrogenated.
- The hydrogenation process converts some unsaturated fatty acids in the oil to saturated. This process significantly alters the oil's melting point, solidifying it at room temperature.
- A well-made soy candle will burn clean and slow to your customers' delight.
- Comes in broken plates shape and has a shelf life of 2 years. Adding a hardener such as Stearic Acid (Stearin) to Soy Wax will compromise its naturalness. Because Stearic Acid is a saturated fatty acid. Soy Wax doesn't show much or any frosting.
How to Make Candles with Soy Wax
- Fill a suitable container with water for double boiling and place it on the stove.
- Melt the Soy Wax using a double boiler method, ensuring there are no solid pieces left by stirring the melting wax.
- You can add candle dyes and fragrances according to the desired color. (Fragrance ratio is %3-%5)
- Place wicks in the containers you will use. Make sure the wicks stay fixed in the center. If they don't have sticky bases, stabilize them in the center by dripping some melted wax at the bottom of the container.
- Pour the melted Soy Wax into the container. Ensure the wick stands straight in the center.
- Trim the excess length of the wick and let your candle sit at room temperature overnight.
