Paraffin is a material widely used in various sectors such as forestry, paper, construction, agriculture, coating, physical therapy, medicine, and cosmetics, especially in the candle industry.

Domestic paraffin is suitable for use in forestry, paper, construction, agriculture, coating, and cosmetics sectors.

Due to its chemical properties, paraffin is often used as a water repellent agent in applications where water is unwanted or has adverse effects, thanks to its water-repellent and inert nature.

Additionally, paraffin, with its low thermal conductivity, behaves like an insulating material, making it a common choice in coating, physical therapy, cosmetics, and medical fields.

To melt solid paraffin using the double boiler method, fill a container with water and heat it on the stove.

Regularly stir the paraffin as it melts using the double boiler method to ensure no solid pieces remain.

If you are making a colored candle, you can add pigment dye (candle dye), or if you are making a scented candle, you can add your preferred candle essences in the range of %3-%5.

Place the wicks in the containers you will use. Ensuring the wicks remain fixed in the center helps them stay in place. If they do not have adhesive to hold them in place, drip some melted wax at the bottom of the container to secure the wick in the center.

After securing the wick, pour the melted paraffin from the double boiler into your container. Make sure the wick stands upright in the center.

After cutting the excess length of the wick, let your candle sit at room temperature overnight.
